Online event: The Beasts

La Bête and The Noisebringers teamed up to present a unique Zoom Q&A on Thursday, June 4, 2020. "The Beasts" was "a divination experiment extended to the global network", a performative gathering during which important and less important were asked and answered. During this Zoom meeting, the artists invited participants to switch on their camera and microphone, and asked them orally, visually, or telepathically questions they didn't know could be asked and questions they didn't know they could answer. The Participants were challenged to answer the questions by speaking, writing, dancing, playing or just remaining silent.
The collaborative work "The Beasts" launched The New Together project, which derived from an open call from Nicoleta Chatzopoulou’s Ngallery for artistic communication and co-creation under the conditions of social distancing due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Following the online presentation of "The Beasts", other works of the project The New Together were presented in three physical exhibitions at Ngallery.
Οι La Bête και οι The Noisebringers συνεργάστηκαν για να παρουσιάσουν διαδικτυακά την Πέμπτη 4 Ιουνίου 2020 ένα μοναδικό Zoom Q&A. Το «The Beasts» ήταν «ένα πείραμα μαντικής που επεκτάθηκε στο παγκόσμιο δίκτυο», μία παραστατική συγκέντρωση κατά τη διάρκεια της οποίας έγιναν ερωτήσεις και δόθηκαν απαντήσεις για σημαντικά και λιγότερο σημαντικά ζητήματα. Κατά τη διάρκεια του Zoom meeting, οι καλλιτέχνες προσκαλούσαν τους συμμετέχοντες να ανοίξουν την κάμερα και το μικρόφωνό τους, και τους έθεταν προφορικά, οπτικά ή τηλεπαθητικά ερωτήσεις που δεν φαντάζονταν ότι θα μπορούσαν να τεθούν και ερωτήσεις που δεν φαντάζονταν ότι θα μπορούσαν να απαντήσουν. Οι συμμετέχοντες είχαν τη δυνατότητα να απαντήσουν στις ερωτήσεις μιλώντας, γράφοντας, χορεύοντας, παίζοντας ή απλώς με τη σιωπή τους.
Το συνεργατικό έργο «The Beasts» εγκαινίασε το project The New Together, το οποίο δημιουργήθηκε έπειτα από ανοιχτό κάλεσμα της Ngallery της Νικολέτας Χατζοπούλου για την καλλιτεχνική επαφή και συνδημιουργία σε συνθήκες κοινωνικής απόστασης λόγω της πανδημίας. Μετά τη διαδικτυακή παρουσίαση τού «The Beasts», τα υπόλοιπα έργα του project The New Together παρουσιάστηκαν σε τρεις φυσικές εκθέσεις στην Ngallery.
